About the Campground
The development of a 45-site campground to a currently operating B & B has proven to be a lengthy task, from a number of fronts. The only requirement remaining for service development is the waste water system design.We have had a number of folks stop in and ask about the progress we are making with the development of the campground. We welcome both additional visitors as well as those same folks back to look at what is happening.
The current plan is to begin development of the new driveway entrance (1st) & services in the late summer or early fall, so that some visitors to the Great North Woods can enjoy the serenity of our campground this summer. We have made several sites available for primitive camping, with an onsite portable toilet and potable water from the lodge’s artesian well.
As will become our policy once the campground is in full swing, your first bundle of (real) firewood is complimentary. So, “Come Get Away From It All…”
